About Moffitt Point Market

Welcome to Moffitt Point Market — the little store on P at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Our family has been coming to Lake of the Ozarks since 1968, when Dane's dad first fell in love with the water at just 14 years old. More than five decades later, that love for the lake is still going strong — and it's what inspired us to put down roots here for good.

Dane and Peggy built Moffitt Point Market to serve the point we call home. Peggy spearheaded a major remodel from November 2024 through the spring of 2025, and we opened our doors for the very first time just in time for Memorial Day weekend 2025. We couldn't think of a better way to kick things off.

We live on the point, we know the point, and we do our best to stock what people here actually want and need — whether that's ice and bait for a morning on the water, a Hunt Brothers Pizza for the group, fresh-baked goods, beer, wine, spirits, grocery staples, or a little something sweet. We take pride in carrying a wide variety so that our neighbors and visitors don't have to go far.

We're more than just a convenience store — we're a small, community-connected family business that genuinely cares about the people who come through our door. Stop in, say hello, and feel at home.
